The $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle is one of America’s most iconic historic gold coins. First struck in 1849, it was produced until 1907 by the United States Mint. Each coin contains .9675 troy ounces of gold with a fineness of .900, balanced with copper for added durability.

Design Details
Obverse: Lady Liberty wearing a coronet inscribed with “Liberty.”
Reverse: A heraldic eagle with a shield, arrows, and olive branch. Later issues display the motto “In God We Trust.”
