1 oz Canadian Palladium Maple Leaf (Common Date)
The Royal Canadian Mint first started producing their 1 oz Canadian Palladium Maple Leaf coins in 2005. The mintage was extremely limited between 2005 and 2007. It was minted again in 2009, and thus the Palladium Maple Leaf had one of the most brief releases in Canadian history. Couple that with the fact that this was the first ever coin to be minted from palladium. The coins have a face value of 50 Canadian dollars individually.
The maple leaf – a symbol of tolerance and peace across Canada is featured on these coins as a standard. The engraved portrait of Queen Elizabeth II honors the country’s former affiliation with Great Britain. The design of the coin is simple yet very intricate, which makes the Canadian Palladium Maple Leaf a favorite among collectors.
